Job Title: Business Modelling & Pricing Officer
Working Pattern: Full-time
Working location: Bristol/Hybrid
The Business Modelling & Pricing team are key players in winning new business by pricing opportunities and supporting negotiations across Defence engine programmes. This role offers exceptional exposure to the complete product lifecycle, from initial pricing through to contract review, working directly with customers and building essential business acumen. You'll develop broad commercial knowledge while protecting Rolls-Royce margins and identifying improvement opportunities in a dynamic market environment.

The Business Modelling & Pricing team provide support to Defence engine programmes, across all phases of the product life cycle, working with customers and supporting negotiations that secure critical contracts.

What you will be doing
With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to:
- Produce price proposals for new contracts and support price negotiations with customers and auditors alongside experienced colleagues
- Work collaboratively with customer, sales and programme teams to identify requirements and develop cost forecasts across multiple functions
- Understand the impact of workshare agreements and partnerships while providing risk expertise to optimise revenue and protect margins
- Support Long Term Contract reviews to ascertain profit, coordinating information from multiple functions to forecast future profitability

- Be numerical and logical with strong data analysis skills, particularly using MS Excel, SAP, and @Risk software
- Have an appetite for technical understanding coupled with a desire to inform and lead business decisions
- Demonstrate eagerness to use your experience to continuously improve and develop the wider team
- Show strong collaborative skills to work effectively across multiple functions and with external customers
- Possess either existing business knowledge ready to exploit or genuine desire to develop commercial understanding (business degree advantageous)
